7. Embedded content from other websites
Articles and media on this website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the user has visited the other website.
When someone visits our website we use one or more third party services, including Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things like the number of visitors to different pages on our site, and their usage patterns within those pages. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google or other organisations to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
9. Third party integrations
Our website may use social and other plugins which are provided and operated by third party companies, such as Facebook and Twitter. As a result of this, you may send to the third party company the information that you are viewing on a certain part of our platform. If you are not logged into your account with the third party company, then the third party may not know your identity. If you are logged into your account with the third party company, then the third party may be able to link information about your visit to our platform to your account with them. Similarly, your interactions with the social plugin may be recorded by the third party.
10. Data security
We follow a number of best practices and make every effort to keep your data secure.
Examples of how we implement technical security safeguards include but are not limited to:
Always using secure HTTP with SSL (HTTPS) to serve pages on our website
Mitigating the effects of possible DDoS or other attacks using a third party CDN (Content Distribution Network)
Using secure third party software to store and manageable all data, for example Google Mail
Unfortunately, no method of transmission over the internet, and no method of storing electronic information, can be 100% secure. So, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your transmissions to us and of your personal information that we store.
11. How long we keep personal data for
We will store any personal data you have given us or we have of you before any contractual work, during and after the contractual service has completed. This is so if we need to get in touch about your work in the future (for example, archiving) we can do so.
You are at any time welcome to ask us to delete all of your personal data, however please note that we cannot continue to offer any service to you if this were the case.
We would remove all of your personal data from our emailing services and CRM. We would ask that we could keep your name and company in our CRM tool so that we can ensure to never accidentally contact you again in a direct sales email capacity.
You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
This document was last reviewed on 24th January 2019.
We’ll always update this policy if we make significant changes to the types of data we collect or the way it is processed.
