DNS Foot Valve
Spec Sheet: DNS Foot Valve & Strainer (FIG.14)
Certification: Available on request
The DNS Foot Valve is a flanged cast iron foot valve with an integral strainer for the suction side of pumps. It retains prime and prevents backflow while the strainer screens out debris, using a simple-disk design for smaller bores and a double-disk design for larger bores.
Description
DNS Foot Valve
Features and Benefits:
• Combined foot valve and strainer in a single flanged unit
• Prevents backflow and keeps the pump primed
• Cast iron (GG-25) construction; DN500 and Ø600 in ductile iron (GGG-50)
• Simple disk Ø40 to Ø150, double disk Ø200 to Ø600
• Flange dimensions to UNE-EN 1092-2 PN10 (PN16 drilling available)
• Wide size range for varied pumping duties
Maximum working pressure 10 m.w.c. (1 bar). Construction: strainer, strip, body and disks in cast iron GG-25 (DN500 and Ø600 in ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7 / GGG-50); leather sealing joint. Options: other materials, NBR / EPDM sealing joint, and flange drilled to UNE-EN 1092 PN-16.
