Product Specifications
The AFC Valves Float Valve Switch is a float-operated level control valve used to automatically maintain water level in tanks, cisterns, break-pressure tanks, and storage reservoirs. As the water level falls below the set point, the float drops and opens the valve to admit water; when the level rises to the set point, the float rises and closes the valve. This simple, self-contained mechanism requires no external power, control panel, or signal wiring, making it reliable and low-maintenance for water storage and distribution applications.
Commonly specified on water supply break-pressure tanks, agricultural reservoirs, cooling tower make-up water systems, and potable water storage tanks in the UK. Available in bronze and stainless steel body materials for potable water and corrosive water service respectively.
