Flanged Stainless Steel Air Valve (DNS Variant – Model LX)
The DNS Variant flanged stainless steel air valve is a triple-acting, three-stage combination air release and vacuum break valve. It protects pipelines from damaging vacuum conditions while ensuring the system maintains design efficiency, and its integral anti-shock feature guards against the damaging effects of uncontrolled filling and pump stoppages. The body and all fasteners are 304/316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long service life.
Features:
• Body and spacers, studs, nuts and bolts in 304/316 stainless steel – no dissimilar metal corrosion.
• Triple-acting, three-stage operation: high-capacity air discharge, high-capacity air intake and pressurised air release.
• Integral anti-shock mechanism for surge alleviation during rapid filling and pump stoppages.
• Automatic, kinetic and anti-shock floats in high-density polyethylene.
• EPDM automatic seal with Nitrile kinetic seal and O-rings for reliable low-pressure sealing.
• Optimum flow characteristics in a compact design.
• Available flanged (SANS 1123 studded) or screwed (male BSP), 25mm to 200mm.
